Water Boil Notice has been Rescinded
On October 30, 2025 , the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required our public water system Port O'Connor Improvement District, PWS ID # 0290065 to issue a Boil Water Notice (BWN) to inform our customers that due to reduced pressure in the Port O’Connor Improvement District Distribution System, water from the Port O’Connor Improvement District system must be boiled prior to consumption.
Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling as of
November 1, 2025.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: WATER OUTAGE & BOIL WATER ADVISORY
A fiber contractor working for Frontier has accidentally damaged a main water line on Jefferson
Unfortunately, we are unable to isolate the leak in that area, which means we will need to shut down the entire water system to make the necessary repairs.
As a result, water pressure will drop below the required 30 PSI, triggering a Boil Water Notice in accordance with public health regulations.
???? What to Expect:
- Temporary loss of water service during the repair process.
- Boil Water Notice in effect until further testing confirms the water is safe to drink.
What You Should Do During the Boil Water Notice:
- Boil all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, and washing dishes for at least one (1) minute.
- Use bottled water if boiling is not possible.
We will notify you once service is restored and the Boil Water Notice has been lifted.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue as quickly and safely as possible.
