ASSISTANT DISTRICT MANAGER
The Port O'Connor Improvement District is seeking a full-time Assistant District Manager to assist with the operation, maintenance, and management of the District's water and wastewater utility systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily utility operations and maintenance
- Assisting with regulatory compliance and reporting
- Coordinating utility construction and capital improvement projects
- Supervising staff and promoting workplace safety
- Participating in emergency response and disaster recovery activities
- Assisting with budgeting and asset management
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 5 years of water/wastewater utility experience
- 2–3 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Ability to obtain and maintain required TCEQ certifications
- Class C or higher TCEQ Water and/or Wastewater Operator License preferred
Salary: $65,000–$80,000 annually, depending on qualifications.
