The Port O’Connor Improvement District has the following job openings available:
- Equipment Operator-Utilities
A minimum of three (3) years responsible experience in operating light to heavy construction equipment. Experience in excavating, backfilling, grading, restoration and maintenance of water and wastewater utilities.
Participate in on-call rotation schedule as required.
High School Diploma or GED and valid Texas Driver’s License required.
- Accounts Payable
Accounts Payable position designed to provide financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization. Duties include completing payments and control expenses by receiving payments, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. Day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner.
Additional duties include compiling information for formulating agendas, posting Board Meeting Agendas, and recording of minutes at Board meetings.
